2020-06-02 10:16 AEST by Arthur Barrett - Someone using the trial on Windows 10 mentions that they are using "openSSH, which lives with the Windows
10".
I'm unsure if this is now a standard component of W10, or if it's optional or an extra install altogether.
But the point is they tested their SSH connection with this, and got the key pair working with this, and now to
get CVS Suite/CVSNT to work with SSH they need to set it up all again in Putty.
This seems like lots of additional work, and is certainly confusing. We should investigate if we can make this
easlier, or at least document SSH connections better (we just assume people know and use Putty). |
