2020-04-01 11:58 AEST by Arthur Barrett - The CVSNT wide area DNS protocol (wide area MDNS) uses 'service' records, however the format is invalid.
ie: we use:
cvs.cvsnt.org. 86400 SRV 0 5 2401 cvs.cvsnt.org.
but it should be:
_cvs._tcp.cvsnt.org. 86400 IN SRV 0 5 2401 cvs.cvsnt.org.
For the service record spec see:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SRV_record
Specifically the service name needs to begin with an underscore and the protocol (_tcp or _udp) must be
included.
This means we'd need to enumerate the protocol (_tcp.cvsnt.org) rather than the domain root (cvsnt.org).
All the examples I've found online use this too, eg:

management/dna-center/1-3-1-0/user_guide/cisco_dna_service_for_bonjour/b_cisco-dna-service-for-
