2016-01-14 22:55 AEST by Arthur Barrett - A client may be blocked form accessing port 2401 and 22 (SSH) by a corporate firewall, making it
impossible to 'checkout' a repository.
The tool 'cvsgrab' creates a 'standard' cvs sandbox but uses viewvc/cvsweb/viewcvs to 'download'
the files via HTTP:
http://cvsgrab.sourceforge.net
Such a feature may be useful for the client. the '$CVSROOT' would need to still be pserver or ssh or
whatever, but there would be a 'fallback', if that port is blocked to try port 80. |
