recover without deleting the sandbox and starting over again:

cvs up -ko -r *.txt

cvs up -CAdP
cvsntsrv [server aborted]: tag '*.txt:1.2' must not contain the characters '$,.:
;@'


Workaround:  If you delete CVS\tag from each CVS directory in the sandbox then
"cvs update -d", the sandbox works again.

This tag file is currently in the attached sandbox:

C:\Users\Glen Starrett\Documents\test\europa\testing>type cvs\tag
T*.txt:1.2

Entries seemed fine (just empty).
