could this mean it's something wrong with cvsproxy?

I've not found any evidence that the server is hung at all - there are no additional 'cvs' processes on the 
server - the most likely explanation is something wrong on the client.  But odd then that it only is 
happening in suite 2010 - just coincidence or is something not back ported properly?
