The CVS Suite Server should also have this functionality, but more control over how/when the statistics are 
sent to us (eg: if nothing else, they should be in the diagnostics).

The client supports the "server-statistics" protocol verb, but the server currently does not.  That verb 
doesn't seem to be covered by bug 5639, but probably should be.  

The server should really support that verb (server-statistics) too.
