You shouldn't import to '.' - the import command should probably stop people 
doing that.  Similar to the "modules -d ." bug.

I have certainly used 'cvs import -n .' before in a directory containing a sub-
directory 'hello' which is probably OK.

This needs testing.  'Siegfried' has not provided details of client or server 
OS but has tried using cvsnt client and server 2.5.02.?, 2.5.03.2382 and also 
the latest testing release CVSNT 2.5.04.3055 (RC7) (Tuesday 6th May 2008).

The best result would be if this does not hang and if the incoming data is 
invalid then an error message given.
