2007-09-11 08:37 AEST by Arthur Barrett - "Remote init commands have been disabled by the server administrator".
I seem to have exactly the same problem as the person who posted
http://www.cvsnt.org/pipermail/cvsnt/2007-February/028281.html - even
though I have enabled "Allow remote init commands", the server claims
that "Remote init commands have been disabled by the server
administrator".
Is this a known bug in 2.5.03.2382? Is it/will it be fixed in 2.5.04? |

I though that feature was experimental, but I suspect it is not clearly
labelled as such. I've never tried it and our commercial documentation does
not mention it (so we do not support it commercially). But it should either be
clearly described as experimental or it should work... |

Works for me (2.5.04).. just tried it. Does the remote init root
directory exist? (not sure 2.5.03 has that extra check but I wouldn't
recommend enabling it on 2.5.03 for precisely that reason.. too much of
a security risk otherwise).
